Call for papers
The Linguistics Department at the University of Saskatchewan (UoS) is pleased to announce a call for papers for The Fourth Annual Prairie Workshop on Languages and Linguistics (PWoLL). The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 18th, 2017.
Abstracts for 20 minute presentations (with a 5 minute Q&A period) are invited on any topic relevant to language and linguistics. These include, but are not limited to: general linguistics (e.g., experimental, theoretical, applied), oral discourse (e.g., indigenous storytelling), etc. Topics on indigenous languages are especially encouraged. Please submit anonymous abstracts in PDF format with the words ''PWoLL 2017'' in the subject line to stewart.jesse 'at' usask 'dot' ca. Abstracts are not to exceed 1 page, including data and references, with 1-inch margins and 12 point font. Please submit abstracts by Monday, January 30th, 2017. Please place your name, presentation title, and affiliations in the cover email and only include the presentation title in your abstract. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously at the UoS, with results expected within two weeks of submission.
